We need new leaders everywhere in New York State. We will unfortunately knock out some of the good with the bad, but that's what happens if elected officials remain silent. They become part of the problem. This year, Sheldon Silver, Tom Duane, Martin Connor, Jonathan Bing and many others are facing challengers. Vote for the challengers. If you're not happy with the change, there will certainly be new blood ready to run in two years.
I don't see anything wrong with the statements from his son either. An indictment is no where near guilt. I've sat on a grand jury before. 30 cases, all indicted. Doesn't mean squat!
No way this guy will be found guilty. His son may be onto something here which between the lines is telling us to use caution until all the facts surface.

Needless to say, the state senator is entitled to a presumption of
